The B.A.R.K. program's mission is to offer an outdoor educational program centered on embracing the magic of being a real kid. With openness to organic learning and curiosity-driven exploration, we create an environment where children thrive while staying connected to nature, themselves, and each other. At the heart of what we do is the belief that connection and relationships lay the foundation for meaningful learning. Through experiential activities like building forts, tracking animal foot prints, or simply lying on the ground staring at the clouds we create space for discovery.
We lean into the preservation of childhood by honoring kids natural instinct to play, imagine and explore.

Non-Traditional Education
Based in Tucker, Georgia, B.A.R.K. offers play-based tutoring, individualized academic support, and outdoor recreation for children ages 5–12.
Our programs are designed specifically for homeschooling and unschooling families who are looking for a supportive community where kiddos can learn, play, explore, and grow together.
Through intentional time outdoors, hands-on experiences, play, and individualized tutoring, kiddos are encouraged to connect with one another and with the natural world around them. We create space for curiosity, creativity, movement, problem-solving, and meaningful friendships to develop naturally.
Individualized
Individualized Tutoring is not just a buzzword we use. Our facilitators take the time to understand each kiddo’s unique needs, interests, strengths, and goals. Through formal and informal assessments, we provide personalized tutoring and support that meets each child exactly where they are.
Learning doesn’t have to happen sitting at a desk. Whenever possible, we incorporate nature, movement, outdoor recreation, play, and hands-on experiences into tutoring. Whether we’re practicing math while exploring the outdoors, building literacy skills through a child’s interests, or working through a challenge together, we look for meaningful ways to make learning engaging and relevant.
Our goal is to give kiddos ownership of their learning while nurturing confidence, perseverance, independence, curiosity, and JOY. We believe children learn best when they feel connected—to themselves, to others, and to the world around them.
Foundational Relationships
Connection and Relationships are at the foundation of B.A.R.K. We are intentional about getting to know each kiddo and their family—what they enjoy, what motivates them, and what makes them feel supported and connected.
When kiddos feel safe, loved, valued, and respected, they are free to be themselves, take healthy risks, make mistakes, ask questions, and try again. We create an environment where curiosity and confidence can grow naturally through play, tutoring, outdoor recreation, and meaningful relationships.
We believe raising and supporting children takes a village. Together with families, we work to build a genuine community where kiddos feel known, supported, and connected.
